Tolerance used to be defined as treating someone with fairness and kindness even if you didn't agree with or accept their actions or their words.
That definition is considered heresy today in the religion of post-modernistic, moral relativism, where the only truth that exists is acceptance, if not promotion of everything except Christianity, since that religion is intolerant.
