They probably don't have the necessary knowledge or ability to think twice.

I suspect that the majority of people running those boats have no clue what may be about to hit them. They are most likely poor, who have no access to world news to know what has happened to boats before them, looking to be paid what to them is a lot of money and perhaps they see an opportunity to lift themselves slightly out of poverty, or maybe they are being forced to by the scumbags higher up the ladder.

Back in the eighties, it was never the narcoterrorists whose bodies were found slit open in the Everglades after they had flown into Miami with balloons of cocaine in their intestines. It was the poor, low level runners.

That having been said, I have no problem with blowing them out of the water. Just don't have any illusions about who it is that's actually being killed. It's not the big fish.

That's why the boats keep coming.
