You're right. They (Muslim extremists) are at war with us. Most people including our politicians won't recognize that fact.

Yeah because it worked the first few times. Islamism won't be defeated militarily.
I don't think prayer and forgiveness will work either, Padre.

Not what I have learned. But to each his own.

It would be if we ousted the one protecting them

We are nowhere close to actually removing Assad. Second this is why we shouldn't be fricking around in the ME in the first place.

When we think ourselves morally superior we need to consider that the rebels we back have all but eliminated Christians in the areas of Syria they control simply because they are Christian.
That's why there is not a moral obligation to remove Assad especially when he will be replaced by regimes that are far worse.

I would never call what you have learned "fairy tales."
Cause I do not know what it is you have indeed learned.
But judge away

Wait, are you really advocating a religious solution?

The essential heart of so many questions that have been asked on this board over the last few days is "How do you win the ME?"
The answer is always the same, you don't play.

I told OP to donate to a Christian charity and to pray for the people in that region.
What's your solution to keeping Christian minorities safe from persecution under a hypothetical situation in which Islamists control the Syrian government?
ETA: There's more than just Christians that would be affected by Islamists coming to power. I'm a fan of using the SDF as a counterweight to the regime and to any Islamist organizations.

Tough living here with people who have a different opinion than you huh? Should probably just kill your self it would be less dramatic than this post

The rich ones left, as I commented months ago. It´s sad, as it is in Egypt.
