They not blocking anything. They want more voters to vote. It's the only way the Democrats win.

In general, that is true. But high turnout helping Democrats does not apply to all precincts. What is to stop Antifa or BLM supporters from going to Republican precincts to prevent likely Republican voters from voting? It seems far fetched, and I don't expect it to happen, but on January 1 of this year I would have never thought that a police station would be taken over and set on fire by protesters in one of the most liberal cities in the country. The Antifa and BLM folks are crazy enough to try some unforeseen things to get their way, and interfering with the voting rights of those with whom they disagree is not out of the question.
