Why don’t we stop all the fricking madness and use blockchain technology to secure our elections?

quote:

Blockchain technology provides a platform for creating a highly secure, decentralized, anonymized, yet auditable chain of record, used presently in cryptocurrency systems. This same technology could also be used to record and report votes and prevent many types of voter fraud in elections. Especially after the misinformation surrounding the 2020 U.S. presidential elections, the world may be ready for blockchain voting on larger scales

How Blockchain Technology Can Prevent Voter Fraud

Can’t have that though. frick us, right.

Everything digital and 'secure' is like a lock - it doesn't matter how robust it looks, someone has the key, and someone has the ability to make the key, and someone has the ability to bypass the need for a key.

The only full proof digital security system is to leave the digital space.

It’s funny you posted this because I’m reading Glenn Beck’s new book, “Dark Future”.

I read the chapter about CBDC and Blockchain last night.

It seems that blockchain will only be used in activities that our Great Reset overlords will want it to be used. Usually, these will be instances to erode freedoms and give more power to the powerful few.

None of this could be happening without both "sides" being complicit.

I’m sure that’s true. How many people out there are capable of hacking it though. It’s surely more secure than ballot drop boxes and human ballot adjudications though.

Long read - but do they address voter registration!! - if 'anyone' can register to vote, then a highly accurate tabulation of those "anyones" is not what we want.

There must be some FILTER on who can vote. do you really want to count the 'vote' of some drunk alien lying in a pile of his vomit that is registered by someone offering him a pack of cigarettes if he will just pouch this button on a cell phone??

Biden could get 250 million votes next time - just from real citizens alone.

I believer in an 'informed citizen' threshold for voting in all elections - where the 'educated' part should be demonstrated wrt to level of the election.
For national office - a voter should demonstrate SOME understanding of our national constitution - and display SOME understanding of current issues.

I stopped reading when they got to 'make it easier for EVERYONE to cast a ballot with 'ease' - I want SOME sort of EFFORT to be required for casting a vote.

me <-- wants paper ballots made on currency quality paper
+ in-person, one-day voting, with picture/finger-print/retina ID.
+ fail-safe 'chain of custody'
+ manual tabulation (use nothing that has any capacity other than adding integer digits.)
+ IMMEDIATE results
+ automatic audits of any rejected ballots.
+ publication of raw participation results (# of registered voters, # of total votes)
+ retention of all paperwork for 20 years
+ death penalty for any tampering detected at any time after the election.

That would be great, but it’s going to be a hard sell. Will be tough working around the voting rights act that explicitly bans it.

It is too late. We might win in 2024 but since we have already let them change the demographics of America conservatives will never win again after that even in a totally fair election.

ballot drop boxes

are an abomination - can only be justified by an unquenchable desire to cheat.

quote:

human ballot adjudications

should be monitored like it was a u-bomb = constant supervision and death penalty charges for tampering < gotta put the fear of god in the lower level 'assistants'
and not much effort should be put into 'determining intent' - it must be a simple process such that if a voter cannot cope with it, his vote should not be worth counting anyway.

Voting should be a solemn duty - not taken lightly or for anything other than the serious exercise that it is.

IF you are not familiar then content yourself with voting for 'cutest boy in 3rd grade' - that should scratch any itch you have for 'voting.'

And IF you spoil your own ballot, then let that be a lesson learned to do better NEXT TIME!!.
- you get ONE CHANCE - don't screw it up. And if you do, prepare yourself better for next time. < these are known as "life lessons" - we all grow up with some form of them. Those who do well, learned early and continue to advance.

Conservative states should do it today. Individual States hold most of the responsibility for these elections from what I understand. Do it now before the communists turn it into GA or AZ.
