How was this question phrased during polling to get to the 70%?
There are a number of ways that they can skew these numbers just by phrasing the question. For instance the question may say: Do you think abortion should be allowed in cases of rape and incest? 70% polled say they agree with that. Suddenly there are articles that say “See 70% of the people agree with abortion.”

exactly.
70% would not support abortion on demand until birth.

It would not be politically pragmatic, but if you fall into the camp that views abortion as tantamount to the murder of a young child and a truly grotesque act the question really shifts away from pragmatism.
Is the apparatus of the state ultimately something we want to enforce the “good” or something we want acting in accordance with the will of the people? It’s a complicated question to answer. We afford basic human liberties which nobody ought to be comfortable eschewing even if a large portion of the population wanted to do so.

You SJWs just replaced religious guilt with race and tranny guilt. Collective "guilt" is absolutely a low IQ belief.

I’m a married man and not looking for those services but thank you. I think people will be sorting based on that, and think that Roe V Wade was always bad law, but it was still the law for millions of people and now it’s not. Saying that right never really existed is an abstraction that has nothing to do with the feelings of people who thought their entire life they were entitled to a right that no longer exists.

Wrong. Overturning it was correct, and youre in full blown panic.
Do better. Do you not believe in "Our Democracy?"

Did I say I felt guilty? 5 million actual southerners fought 28 million Yankees to a standstill for four years. Your ancestors didn’t. The south is the only region in America where people no how to suffer and persevere. That’s true of white and black people who have been here for a long time. Meanwhile your family couldn’t hack it back home so they came to America looking for opportunity. That’s a lovely story. It’s a story that you share with Germans in Pennsylvania, Italians around New York, Irish in Boston, Swedes in the upper Midwest, and Jewish people in cities all along the east coast. It’s an American story. You are an American. You are not a southerner. You will never be a southerner. I don’t care if your descendants live here a thousand years.

This is boring. I’m not wasting anymore time explaining why people I don’t agree with our upset to a man who can’t grasp that other people think differently than he does

If you want an abortion, go find a place where its legal. In the meantime, use birth control, they hand them out for free at your local clinic.
Youre welcome for this life lesson.

Dobbs is the correct Constitutional interpretation, but Roe was the law of the land for 50 years. to pretend otherwise is childish

It has zip to do with the present
Its not the law of the land, go figure out another solution zippy.
You can easily travel to abort your mistakes if your state is anti abortion. There is no abortion ban

I don’t use birth control because I’m Catholic. Secondly, if my wife got pregnant. I wouldn’t get an abortion. Telling people it’s ok, you didn’t lose a right because it was always a bad law and you can just leave your home and uproot your life, is dumb. If the state banned your right to drink alcohol, and I said it’s ok, you can just move across state lines, you will have still lost your right to drink alcohol. And all of that is beside the point because the goal is to ban it nationally, because it is murder. We don’t say murder is ok in Maryland, but In Virginia murder is illegal. Murder is murder, and wrong, even if there were no laws at all. But if murder was legal in Maryland and suddenly it’s not, and you had previously had the option of murdering people who pissed you off on the table, and now it’s gone; you would be correct in thinking you lost a right.

There is no abortion ban
(though certain states have tried very hard to expand the scope of their bans to abortions conducted outside their borders).

Unless you’re from Idaho. And they are trying to pass a similar law in Texas that would make it illegal to cross state lines for an abortion, and again, the goal is to make it illegal nationally.

There are bans which can be very easily worked around if you choose a loose lifestyle..
