So you’re asking if the most anti war President the USA has had in my lifetime would sign up 5o go to war?
No military would be needed to defend Taiwan if Trump was President. The Commies would not dare start war with a country with USA ties. They only feel strong now because their #1 ally is in the White House.

Isn’t the real question how does China consider war with the US over Taiwan, when Taiwan hasn’t done anything to them? China is the aggressor in this equation. I assume you were all for the appeasement of Hitler as he rolled Europe too?
