Not perceived, real world.

Very accredited people were being destroyed by you Bootlickers for asking simple questions.

Try again...

The problem with nonstop playing Message Board Contrarian is that eventually you lose all perspective and are so caught up in the Contrarian Shtick that you lose the ability to judge when you've engaged in some incredibly stupid arguments.

Trust me, YOU ARE THERE.....

Do you and Booga bring pics of Richard into new doctor's visits to vet them on their suitability as health experts?

Stupid question, but I DID ask you and you failed the integrity test.

Are you a liar or stupid?

There is only one answer to the question I posed, yet now you are tripling down on the wrong answer.

Liberator, whose OP we left so long ago, is so titanically pilled about science (i.e. at least his board persona is) that he claims to believe all scientific knowledge is a fraud played upon society, yet he presumably goes to the doctor). There are a lot of cheap internet beliefs that aren't lived, and so some of this is signaling, but it definitely does real harm, especially as it's less savvy folks who get attitude-poisoned by it.

And I gave you my answer. If you bring me Richard's picture to review at a new patient visit, I might give you the same answer again and you can huff off and make a show if you like for my lack of "integrity".

science is always going to get political. I don't think you can get around that.
Of course you can.

Politics is the art of compromise. As a physician, if you compromise, you end up hurting patients. So you better work damn hard to "get around that."

The public sees BS like Fauci wearing a cloth mask or dangling it from his neck, while claiming it prevents the spread of disease, and they are unsettled.

They hear Fauci claiming CV19 "came from an animal in the wet markets." Then they find 3 1/2 years later, there is no animal indigenous to China (other than man) capable of transmitting CV19. They recognize Fauci lied about CV19 zoonosis and that he is still lying.

Fauci claimed the vax is 100% effective. The laypublic sees thousands of post-vax folks getting infected, and they know Fauci lied.

Then they do as many have done here. They extrapolate Fauci's duplicity to the entire field of medicine. Ergo doctors cannot be trusted. Trust is a critical element of the doctor-patient relationship. The admixture of politics and medicine decimated that trust.

Yes, that's true & earlier in the thread I was in fact blaming some of the poor response on politics and you're right to bring up the point. Science is best when politics is minimized or at least its publicly contested on relatively straightforward/honest grounds.

No huffing.

Just pointing out that after several pages of your bitching about people not trusting your Industry, you were given a very simple chance to honestly answer a question and prove that not everyone in your circle is a liar.

You failed....

Multiple times.
