When the poll began, the pollster read to me my full name and asked for confirmation it was accurate. She did the same thing at the conclusion of the poll as well. I still answered honestly regardless, but damn I am now completely understanding why people are lying to the pollsters! We are living in a world in which people are losing their jobs, being attacked on the streets and getting slandered publicly all for the simple support of their President. Then they are expected to answer honestly when their first and last names are being tracked with their answers? I was a bit skeptical of this theory for the most part. While I believed some answered falsely to stay safe, I figured the number was exaggerated. Now I see it clearly, and I believe a significant number of people are doing it.
