I think most would like an actual review of the events of 1/6

An actual review of all that happened and the actual truth. That said, it's so far down the list of priorities right now it's absurd.
I think most agree this show investigation is nothing but politics. I didn't watch, but sounds like cherry picked clips and testimony. I'd be interested in the truth, the whole truth.
I worked on Capitol Hill years ago. I was there for SOTU, joint sessions, election certifications, etc. You don't walk into the building on a random Tuesday in August, let alone a day like that with large protests. It doesn't happen.
Why were people let in? Why was security cut? Why are people still being held without charges? If they broke the law, fine.
This Soviet propaganda does nothing but tear this place further apart. Rant over.

In 2000, the next time LSU students illegally stormed the field at Tiger Stadium, cops directed traffic and even helped some people over the barricade to prevent them from being trampled.
At the point that there was a breach, cops endeavored to minimize harm.
