Blacks will just stay home in November versus voting for Kamala.

What's scary is that suburban middle-aged white women will see this as a chance to help blacks yet again. Their savior complex and racism may be too much to overcome.

Identity politics are really dumb but it has painted the Democrats into a corner. You piss off blacks even more by nominating Kamala or ignore her and get called racist by suburban middle-aged white women.

Blacks staying home isn't what my FB page is showing me. Almost every single black friend of mine has posted either a picture of her or something that says they are glad they have a credible choice again. They were going to stay home for Biden or vote Trump. I think most will turn out for Kamala. Additionally, maybe some of the men stay home (not what my FB page shows) but every black women will vote.

I heard from someone today who was at a local establishment that the talk was of Trump setting up a fake assassination attempt on himself.

You didn't ask for a quote. If you have a prticular quote in mind just share it. I can't read your mind.

Fair point.

quote:

I'm assuming you don't want the quote where he said: “Let us close the springs of racial poison. Let us pray for wise and understanding hearts. Let us lay aside irrelevant differences and make our nation whole. Let us hasten that day when our unmeasured strength and our unbounded spirit will be free to do the great works ordained for this nation by the just and wise God who is the Father of us all.”

Haha. I can’t imagine posting that and acting as though LBJ actually meant it.

You are a fool and a tool.

Chew on this one:

quote:

MSNBC reporter Adam Serwer writes: In Senate cloakrooms and staff meetings, Johnson was practically a connoisseur of the word. According to Johnson biographer Robert Caro, Johnson would calibrate his pronunciations by region, using "nigra" with some southern legislators and "negra" with others. Discussing civil rights legislation with men like Mississippi Democrat James Eastland, who committed most of his life to defending white supremacy, he'd simply call it "the n!gger bill."

I do find it funny that in 2024, you Dem’s still defend racists.

Funny, but hardly surprising.

Please don't believe this. Assume she will get 99.9% of the black vote. Race exceeds everything in politics and you're a fool to believe otherwise.

I’m so glad you were wrong and we made significant gains with black and Hispanic males.
