Convention of the States is the only way to make that happen

This would be my #1 priority in a Convention of the states. The states were not intended to be subservient to the federal government. The intention was the opposite.
Recently the cost of a senate race has exploded. This year over $100MM was spent by one side in an attempt to unseat the incumbent South Carolina Senator. To raise that much money, the candidate must be in constant fundraising mode. That’s not a good path to statesmanship, but instead it’s the path to selling out to the highest bidder. It would be nice to have at least a portion of the legislature that is not beholden to special interest rent seekers.
Washington is broken. This would be a great 1st step towards a fix.
