Hank...your posts and weak assertions are sitting ducks to take apart. (FWIW)
Your above addenda to the rest of that entire post are also amusing. Because most of all, it is so utterly ironic.
You are a man whose main "virtue" (for some still unexplained quirky reason) is defending the kink of transvestite freaks who masquerade as "women" at public venues, grinning like demons in a candy store. There they pretending to "read" books to little children.
This kind of ritual appears to be a component of YOUR "Religion." (Officially, what is it? Or should we just guess?)

Where in this source does it say the vast majority of scholars accept Jesus' life, death, and resurrection?

All God does is communicate. You don't trust your own learned intuition, so you'll never understand.

How many slaves did Americans own at this time?
I dunno. Do you? All I know is our Founding Fathers (the guys you love to hate) fought off 'slavery' to the Crown in the Revolt of 1776. Then when things settled down, the 'Republic' turned its attention to freeing the slaves to the plantation owners. Ironically, many blacks flock to the plantation today. Except we don't call it the plantation today, we call it the democrat party.
Did you know Abe Lincoln was a 'Republic-an,' so was the Reverend Martin Luther King. Democrat Senator Robert Byrd was once a member of the KKK? Did you know that most opponents to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 were.....(wait for it)......Democrat.

The inability of anyone to successfully explain the origins of such a thing.

I hope this doesn't speak of his all powerful nature, because he's shite at communication. Upwards of 90% of humanity will end up in Hell, all because he's hiding behind clouds, acting in mysterious ways, all the while his followers tell others to just be lumps of clay and not question the potter.
EDIT: What was he trying to communicate when he was drowning children to solve a problem he could have without drowning children?

Churches capitalize on cheap, legalistic religion. They attract systematic humans just like secular systems.
Some, sure. But maybe not all?
In order for there to be a counterfeit, there must first be an original. Authentic. One does not throw out all of his money upon realizing that there are counterfeits. One must then only look closer at what is real.

It's impossible for you to k ow. You don't even believe it's possible.
Talking to anal personalities about God is like discussing science with children.

If you didn't have anything to provide to the discussion you could have said so from the start...

You're not capable of understanding much less discussing spirituality.

Neither are you, else you could answer the questions I'm positing.

I absolutely do. I could explain it to you, but lack ack the ability to see anything beyond structureand wouldn't get it.

I’m sorry to hear that. May I ask, how much searching have you done? And where have you searched?

What do you mean by "anything beyond structure", and how do you know me so well?

Well, you sure fooled me. I mean you ask,"how many were slave owners?" You could have responded; they (our Founding Fathers) were brave and risked everything to free us from the tyranny of the Crown. Had they didn't, blacks today might be relegated to serving coffee to wealthy democrat donors just like Bill Clinton said about Barack Obama.

Recently? Almost none.
Though, I did get caught up in questioning my faith while attending college and devoted so much of my time to looking into these sorts of things (as opposed to studying) that I nearly flunked out of my university for two semesters straight.
