9/11 was horrible, and I wish it wouldn't have happened, but I miss the unity of 9/12.

A Republican president that 10 months earlier people thought stole the election was cheered everywhere he went.

No one cared who ate at Chick fil A or wore Nike shoes.

It was the best chance to bring the entire world together.

But we chose to invade Iraq.

Go figure.

Yep. We should have deleted Afghanistan to make an example of and warning to everyone.

Yep. A bipartisan money grab of biblical proportions.

Who were the leaders of this cabal? Cheney (Ford and HW's SECDEF and W's VP), W himself (a scion of a very old, patrician GOPe family), McCain (the 2008 GOP Candidate, professional "maverick"), Biden (VP 2008 to 2016), Clinton (wife of WJC, Pres candidate 2008 and 2016, SECSTATE 2009 to 2013), Kerry (Pres candidate 2004), Schumer, Feinstein, etc. They even compromised the one cat who likely could have topped the ticket for either party - Colin Powell.

To quote AC/DC: "Money Talks, BS Walks."

It’s been along time since this nation witnessed hardship true hardship first hand. I hope it doesn’t come in my children’s life time but it’s coming and it will change the face of the world. It may be civil war. It may be an invasion buy another country who sees the fractures in this country’s resolve. ItMay be a catastrophic natural disaster. Or it may be a catastrophic economic disaster.

I believe the most profound moments in history resulted from great hardship. The most admirable people the greatest artwork and the most treasured stories unfortunately started with hardships That many of us can’t imagine. We are fools to think that history will not repeat itself.

Man, I remember going over to some neighbors’ house with a bunch of strangers and getting very drunk in a spirit of depressed brotherhood. I wish I remembered more of that night, but what I remember was special.

I’m talking about the night of the big vigil thing.

It was about a vendetta for W about his dad.

But to abandon the search for who bombed us was wrong.
