I'm on a train out of the city now on my phone, so reception may be spotty. Feel free to check IP for clarification.

My family and all my friends are fine. Most of us live outside the city center, but the one closest to the city has been evacuated.

I was in Boston during the bombing and this feels eerily similar. The entire city is mourning, angry, and resilient at the same time.

Anyway, I have about an hour left in my commute so I figured I can process this way.

Tell us more about Manchester. Did they largely vote to Brexit? Is there a sizeable Mooselimb population there? Do you think that Noel will rejoin Oasis for a reunion tour of Europe? Have you seen the "Supersonic" documentary yet, mate? I hear it was in theatres there. What's your favourite Oasis B-side?

Kinda. Manchester has had Muslims since WW2 when huge amount of Pakistanis came over to rebuild the bombed cities. Manchester had jobs, so many settled there. Since many are westernized, most Muslims are basically secular.

However, the predominantly Muslim areas are moss side, long sight, and rusholme. The guy who was arrested was in Chorlton, which is actually a nice area to live. Fairly middle class.

What was more vital in the success of the Smiths, Johnny Marr's guitar or Morrisey's lyrics?

Do you admire the way that Liam rocks a parka?

Manchester is a very liberal city, like Boston for example. Manchester has a massive Muslim population, but its a mixed bag as far as conservative religious types go. I know next to nothing about Oasis since I grew up a metalhead in the south, ha. The locals however always get drunk and inevitably someone starslts singing wonderwall.

Sir Winston,

Your lack of sensitivity and situational awareness never cease to amaze me.

The seats in that arena looked like shite. Like something you'd see in a very outdated American arena like Milwaukee's Bradley Center or Oakland's Oracle arena.

How old is that arena? It held 22,000 people so it's obviously as large as any arena in North America.

I was asking a legit question about the culture of the city.

If you don't like what I have to say then ignore me.

The city is very welcoming, think like San Fran. The surrounding towns however are less so. All the villages surrounding Manchester voted leave, for instance, and are huge conservative voting blocks

I've never been inside, but yeah it looks like a shitty place for a concert. But that's where all the big gigs play, so it is what it is
