My wife watches The Five so if I happen to be in the same room, I'll half arse watch it. Other than that, I haven't watched any national "make your own news" since I got bored with the same bullshite story when Trump did those 4:00 Central time press conference during the early months of covid.

Well, I never watch CNN or MCNBC, and I'm trying to wean myself off of Fox News and News Max (and doing really well, they're making it very easy, especially Fox). It's just one big phony "let's fire up the troops for ratings" charade. If you switch back and forth between the two, you'll get the exact opposite "news" feed every time.

I do find myself here a good bit, and that can get a little toxic too, but I use it to basically just keep up with any important current event so I'm not totally ignorant to what's going on.

I haven't watched TV news since the proliferation of Internet news sites. I gladly escaped from the left/liberal hypnotic eye as soon as there was an alternative.

I browse across the political spectrum, and almost always prefer to read rather than having news read to me in a video clip.

I don't even know what channel the news networks are on. China owns Disney and all the major news networks. They control what they want you to hear. Also most social media. I get my news from this sight and then look at the source before I believe any of it. I haven't watched the news since the last presidential election.

my housemate watches the news every spare minute.
I make her use headset or have it mute with the subtitles.

I watch t.v. if there's some current event.

I follow several news outlets on my phone.
I get more from reading several than sitting an hour.

if housemate watches something interesting I hear about it and look into it. sometimes she asks what TD makes of some news.

right wing posters frequently expect me to comment as a lib on some recent info and I may never even heard about it.
they act offended like I'm supposed to be into what they are. I read Buddhist teaching more than i watch news. I used to watch tv a ton.
