I am a conservative and have seen what Russia (the old USSR) can do. I have seen Greece today with their debt, and other currency failures.
Mostly the Dems are blamed for the debt, but Trump has promised to run it higher, and I fear that.
It seems that nobody is worried about this, so I must be missing something. $20 trillion is a big hole. Adding to it is worse. I don't see what I am missing.

Fact of the matter is there is nothing any of us can do about that. It is such a big number that it is not worth expending any of your energy thinking about. You've seen the wailing and gnashing of teeth by so many higher ups about Trump being elected. We will have to assume Trump has plans that will fundamentally address this if it is important. We do know that no other politician running would have helped this problem anyways as none of them were leaders. Fear not Halftrack, Trump is on the way.

Yep. All that is true. They all promise to reduce it and it goes higher. And I am not even a grain of sand on the beach to do one damn thing about it. So, I guess got to let that worry go!!
