she will never vote GOP. She is your typical american voter she votes straight party all the time and is not very well informed. As I was explaining to someone else recently. The reality is prior to Donald all of the other Republicans thought that if only they behaved in a certain manner the press wouldn't do what it always does. It was almost a case of political battered wife syndrome

Trump use Twitter to break that paradigm. The person I was talking to say yeah but does he have to be so outrageous? I said that's the only reason it works. If all Trump did was post innocuous classy tweets the press would ignore them also just like they've done with every other Republican in terms of reporting

But Trump has created a what's he going to say next environment. Or even people who hate him are paying attention.

But make no mistake that on the whole that style is what has allowed him to go around the press

Some might respond by saying he's caused the press to treat him the way they do. But that's just revisionist bullshite. The press called Reagan a racist and sexist and every conservative between Reagan and now the same if they achieved any traction at all

there is nothing the press says about Trump in terms of those kinds of things they weren't going to say about any Republican elected. The added vitriol for Trump is purely a product of the fact that they tried to take him down and it didn't work
