You don't hear far left because the most ridiculous far left ideals are celebrated by the mainstream left. No need to say far left when all left is far left.

In this specific instance, I am referring to social media algorithms. A set of instructions use to solve a problem or perform a task. The instructions set priorities on content delivery. The goal would be to maximize engagement.
