Can someone explain why as a country we are trillions of dollars in debt but we are going to send 100 million to Palestine for humanitarian aid knowing dang well it will just end up in the hands of hamas. If we are just going to blow 100 million for no reason I can think of a ton of better reasons to use it here at home. I know that we have taken it upon ourselves as a country to always be there whenever there is a humanitarian crisis but this is just a waste of money at this point.

I never understood this logic.
We have hungry people within our own nation and yet we import more hungry people or send billions in food and cash to other nations that never make it to the general population and end up in some warlord’s pocket.
It is time we return our charity and keep it within our borders to help our own in this nation. It is time for us not to be the world’s watchman or keeper of the peace and soup line for the world’s poor as a nation.
If a private organization or religious sect wants to help a 3rd world country out, they can do so at their own risk and money.

There should not be one dime of taxpayer dollars going to support terrorists.

There is nothing to explain…we allow it!

Liberals jump at EVERY chance they can to bleed America of it's monetary prowess. Their desire is to create so much damage we are no longer powerful and just another country.
We are The World should be their battle cry.
The Right sees peace through strength. The Left sees peace through giving it away. Sorry folks it doesn't work that way.

As long as there is even one single homeless and hungry American military veteran living on US soil, we should not send any "humanitarian aid" outside of our borders. As long as there are hungry natural born American children anywhere within our borders, they should receive food before kids in Ukraine or Djibouti or Afghanistan.
Unfortunately, our policy of "world police" interventionism puts us in a position where that's impossible. We allow the politicians to fire up the MIC war machine and level third-world shitholes with hundreds of billions of dollars worth of munitions to take out a faction of radical extremists, and then get stuck footing the bill to pay for the medical and essential survival needs of all the innocent casualties and victims.
For the first time in our illustrious and compelling history, our national deficit exceeds our net worth with no apparent desire to even try to begin climbing out of our debt hole. That's called bankruptcy. And yet, here we are, still putting everything on credit cards.
We are unfortunately witnessing the beginning of peak clown world and our demise. Collapse is imminent.
