I think you guys are reading this wrong and the long list of auto shotguns and rifles at the bottom are EXEMPTED. I think this is pretty much the ban we had before. limited to 10 shot mags, no "pistols" with a second grip and of course no "assault weapons" ARs AKs etc. No folding stocks stc.

The second interpretation effectively bans all semi-auto pistols. That should not be left to interpretation, and I don't trust the sons of bitches writing this to be honest.

You are absolutely clueless. You think anyone with a room temp IQ should be fine that some gun-hating group of retards has created a list of firearms they approve of US citizens owning? Did you not notice the "2017" on Appendix A.? Did you not notice than some of the firearms on the exempted list still don't pass the 1-feature test outlined in this bill? Maybe you should actually try reading this bill again after doing some basic research on this topic.

It's nothing like the 1994 AWB. 2018 is a 1-feature instead of a 2-feature and the "2017" refers to an obvious cut-and-paste of an earlier bill that the authors failed to correct in the rush job of putting this bill together. This bill is far worse than the original but that also means it has no chance of passing.

And just above the section you quoted is the following, also under “Definitions”:
