Answer….a shite load of money would immediately leave the equities market…..the Fed and Wall Street know this too.

You’re over the target but slightly off. The cost of financing the government would be negative without ZIRP and QE.

Want to support "green" companies? Oppose investments in alcohol? There are plenty of socially conscious funds where you can do that.

What I oppose is forcing that down someone else's throat. Like what Senators on both sides of the aisle are trying to do with the Thrift Savings Plan.

Is removing the control of Vanguard, Blackrock, StateStreet a viable thing?

A breakup Ma Bell style? that what we are suggesting?

Know how many 401Ks are with those three (maybe minus Larry Fink's Blackrock?)?

If there is as much concentrated power as is suggested - and I don't doubt it, especially with the media control these three control - and IF a breakup of the situation could be actuated - there would need to be some degree of caution...

Dont get me wrong I am for that, but I also have my 401k holdings in one of them.

Hell, I am still trying to find out what fiat currency actually is and how it works... and I have dealt with beaucoups of big cash in most of my employment through the years..

$500,000,000 (project manager, NOT senior); $800,000,000 (executive direction); space program bucks (mostly technical); corruption I personally found ($7,000,000 of Alabama Community College system) that CONTINUES bleeding Alabama to the poor house.

I'm just glad I have steered clear of Nick Saban and Kirby Smart's programs..
