How would you insure Blackrock and Vanguard’s investments have a moral compass?

Read this quote to get an idea of what I’m asking:

quote:

There is now a “large block of capital, which is decoupled from nation states.” This capital “will move wherever it wants to, and it moves in response to one primary driver, which is return on investment. It has no moral compass. It has no moral component. It only responds to the opportunity to seek additional return on investment.”

quote:

The problem with this sort of capital is, according to Dr. Malone, that it is now “so large that it can dictate policy, economic policy and national policy in different nation states. And that capital has acquired all of the main media, all of the Big Tech, and all of the major vaccine and pharmaceutical companies. And … this is why it’s acting globally in an integrated fashion.” This “fusion of corporate and state interests” is “global,” and that is why he calls it “global totalitarianism.” What makes this development so evil is that, in Malone’s eyes, this capital “has no intrinsic morality.”

I don’t see any way to infuse huge investment funds with “morality.” You can create a fund that has investments in organizations that meet certain criteria, and that is available now, but for the overall investment markets and capital funds, this is impossible.

Money has never had a moral compass. If any organization tries to guide it with their morality, that will be giving it a political vector. One party in this country would like that, if they haven’t already done it.

Most Americans will bitch about China’s ascension to challenge the US position as the world’s alpha superpower but what they won’t bitch about is their contribution in assisting China’s rise with their 401k contributions….hundreds of billions if not trillions of 401k retirement money was invested in China.

He calls it global capital. To personalize it, you could call it a pack of oligarchs. And yes, they buy governments, law and conduct/sponsor color revolutions. And when the pack decides to work together in concert as we are seeing today, we end up with the Great Reset or perhaps a better name, a New World Order.

Oligarchs are enemies of democracy. Governments must work to their interest, not the interests of the masses. They decide, you obey.

Breaking the olibarchs is absolutely necessary. Above my pay grade to determine best way to do it, but it can be done and must be done.

The only way would be to ensure that you don’t give them your money if you don’t agree with their moral compass, which could be difficult.

Interesting points by the writer. People and governments respond to incentives, and incentives usually involve money.

Our financial system is broken.

Last week, 11 million GME shares magically appeared on Fidelities books to be available for loan. Fidelity blamed a 3rd party but refuses to name the party. Instead, they pointed to an unsourced opinion piece on Market Watch that is was Vanguard. Who knows? Fidelity and Vanguard refuse to admit it was them.

Then, the shares magically got "corrected" around noon that day. Fidelity implies that the shares mistake was fixed. How???? Were they then picked up for more shorting last week?

Damn this system is totally fraudulent.

edit:
If you have GME shares or any shares, direct register them to prevent them from being loaned. Computershare is the DRS agent for GameStop and many other companies. Check them out.

"Moral Compasses" are admittedly in very short supply in this world -- especially be it 2021's corporations, governments, the medical, educationa and media monopolies, many places of worship, or any past dependable traditional institutions.

Blackrock and Vanguard are not unlike any historical Investors who have looong baked-in any "morality" factor (see Big Military-Industrial Complex, Big-Pharm Complex, Big-Chem Complex, Big-Penitentiary Complex, Big-GMO Complex, etc).

Just sayin'.

Do you understand why the huge investment banks and Wall Street are able to control the vast majority of Americans investment dollars?

Because the Federal Reserve/Global Banking Cabal has diluted the USD with ZIRP and QE….This has forced Americans to invest their retirement savings into riskier investments rather than being paid a reasonable interest rate for their hard earned savings. How many trillions of dollars would flow out of equities if there was an interest rate for prudent savers that was 2-3% above inflation? Answer….a shite load of money would immediately leave the equities market…..the Fed and Wall Street know this too.

Dunno about that, boss.

There have indeed been various degrees of financial moral compasses, honor systems and lines drawn in the sand demonstrated by most past governments, business, corporations, organizations and institutions.

Now? All bets seem to be off as Moral Relativity has replaced The Golden Rule.
