"They're trying to make you cynical," Obama says in the video released Wednesday by ATTN:. "They're trying to get you to believe that your vote doesn't matter. Do not let them do that."
Obama says in the video that over the last few months he's "learned a thing or two from young people about how to quarantine successfully," including how to make a "mean sourdough starter."
"You showed me the Renegade challenge — great name by the way — which I've been enjoying on my finsta," he says with a grin.
The 59-year-old former commander in chief says that making change this November will depend on young people.
"Since we're still dealing with a pandemic, we've got to approach voting just like we do everything else these days: shopping, ordering dinner, pulling off a surprise birthday party over Zoom. We've got to plan."
He then encourages viewers to register to vote and make a plan to either vote in-person or by mail.
"Some places call this absentee voting. You might hear it called voting from home. It's all the same, like Donald Glover and Childish Gambino," Obama says.
Over the last few months, I've learned a thing or two from the young people in our country. I figured I would return the favor by sharing with you how to make a plan to vote in this upcoming election. LINK

At the end of the video, Obama is seen getting up from his chair, saying, "Now that we're done with that, do you want to see my Renegade?"

Young people went overwhelmingly for Bernie Sanders. Remember when Obama came out of the closet to back door maneuver within the DNC just to AVOID a Bernie Sanders nomination?
"Look young people, you wanted Bernie Sanders, but I didnt agree with that, so now why dont you vote for the candidate I hand picked to win while screwing over your candidate. "
