How stupid are liberal millennials?

White, self-loathing liberals between the ages of 18-35 will cause the downfall of this country. Book it.

Much of the problematic dysfunction re the whole Liberal (Egalitarian) narrative is based on Idealism. In Religion (Judeo Christian), Jesus set the Ideal bar so high that few other than a handful of 'Mother Theresa' types can even come close, much less reach perfection. "none righteous...not one".

As people in their youth - or any age wherein Personal Spirituality is contemplated and acted upon - will always perceive an Ideal upon which they will base their belief and action. Most will become over zealous when committed, and manifest their newly-acquired zeal as a perceived form of high-minded sanctimony in relating to others who may or do not accept their particular Ideas. This is the 'virtue signaling' phase of Human spiritual evolution. The Good Book warned of this and cautioned converted zealots to "remove the mote from their own eye before attempting to remove it from others". Of course, naïve and inexperienced spiritual warriors will not see this in the beginning; so, the obvious societal conflict re Ideals become very dangerous to societal harmony. That is where we are now.

IMO, it is the beginning of the birth process of a higher Human Spiritualty. Painful, bloody and slow...but will pay off in the new life that comes. That is a Faith-based hope; could be that we are headed to just another run of the mill Civilizational collapse, and the Fermi Paradox. We'll know pretty soon.
