How much would be solved by abolishing Twitter?

Legacy media is bad too: they'll publicize some trivial phone camera recorded incident that's supposedly racist on nightly noise to stir shite up; but Twitter is the sine qua non of the left wing/BLM power structure, where they generate their outrage mobs. I remember Jack Dorsey went all in and they had #BLM plastered all over their office walls during the Ferguson debacle. Facebook has been trying to play catch-up.

Probably have to get rid of FB, Instagram etc as well.
But yes, conservatively 75% of the problems right now are due to idiots on social media trying to outperform everyone else.

The world would be better with no social media, even if it meant we would never have had president Trump

“abolish Twitter”? Okay boomer
A. How does one “abolish” a web-based social networking application based on open source code?
B. This would be a violation of the 1st Amendment, so I’m sure all the Constitutionalist conservatives on here will downvote you to oblivion (sarcasm).
C. Even if you did somehow make Twitter go away, there are a thousand more startups out there eager to take their place.

Stupid idea.
I get that they are definitely not on our side. Neither is FB. But they are a private company and if you're dumb enough to create laws just for them, the consequences down the road will be infinitely worse. We just don't comprehend how yet.
Let the market play out. And scream your fricking head off about what's happening in the mean time. And move to fricking Parler. Then stop giving Twitter and FB clicks.

Agreed that's a conservative estimate. Even in the best of times, social media has largely been a pissing contest for likes, retweets, or whatever.
My sister lives in Hollywood, and she was showing me posts from her woke friends celebrating Disney's reimagining of Splash Mountain as long overdue.
Keep in mind, my sister has gone on Splash Mountain with these same friends for years, and they've never said anything about the ride being "racist" until now. No doubt the echo chamber of social media informed them to think it was.

We already did that.
