With all the women wanting to pose for Penthouse and all the casting couch meetings Heff must have had, I'm suppose to believe that he never entertained underage girls? This defies logic.

I’m just saying it kind of looked like girls had to take the schlong if they wanted to be a bunny

I’m not saying that it was, just that it’s always been suspicious.

Oh but I can’t resist, speaking of liberal pedos

So, having sex with or seeing adult women in the nude leads to sex with under age girls in your opinion? Is this from personal experience? Help me understand.

I think pornography as a whole degrades women and studies show that extended exposure to it can lead one to commit deviant acts and at the very least, it makes men see women as objects and less as people.
There are too many documented cases of porn stars who admit they lied about their ages and made movies while underage to think they the same thing didn't happen with Playboy.

And you can't ever find a girlfriend even though you're a really nice guy and would treat them all like angels because all women want are assholes, right?

Yeah, I’m just not cool with that.

ETA: but I also think it should be totally legal and I wouldn’t call them victims...just IMO makes him a piece of shite

I'm 56 and have a very hot 47 year old wife. I don't need any girlfriends.

Even in the Cosby case the at the time underage girl said that her age was questioned at Heff's mansion just to have alcohol in the 1970's.

And Porn was a total taboo back then. Heff was fighting just to print his magazine.

The FBI was on his arse...like he would seriously risk his empire by having sex with underage girls? Doesn't seem really logical.

Tracy Lords almost brought down the entire porn industry and that was years later in the 80's.

Is it your premise that only men who view porn or objectify women can get a girl?!

There is a huge leap here. Have you seen a few issues of Playboy? Beyond the cover that is.

Are we to assume that he didn't use his position of power to sexually prey on young girls?

Yes.

Because there's no documented evidence confirming that and he didn't need to do either way at all as Heff made no bones about what he really was as he advertised himself as a pornographer running a nude magazine and it was all but written on a contract that potential playboy bunnies had to frick heff.

Harvey Weinstein was the opposite of Heff and tried to hide what he really was and preyed on women who wanted no part of being in porn or having to frick people to get a part in a movie.

A lot of people read playboy for the articles and look at penthouse and hustler for the nudes.

Since all of Hollywood knew what he was doing, and as stated in another thread, his contract even made stipulations to cover his Sexual activities, he didn't do a very good job of hiding it.

There is like 1 case.

And it almost toppled a billion dollar industry. That's how serious the government was about this back in the 80's.

Let alone the 70's and 60's and Hef's hedey. Just like Larry Flynt, he was a public enemy. He was being wire-tapped.

Hef might have been a scumbag for the time - but he was trying to make nudity acceptable in America - like it was in Europe.

Puritan age is over. I mean nobody knows anybody's dark secrets - but the FBI could have easily planted underage girls to ensnare him.

He had no reason or incentive to have sex with underage girls...he had all the hottest women he wanted.

You have to just be assuming because pornographer = pedo. Frankly Hef's first wife was an old broad by Playboy's standards. Playmate at age 30.

Doesn't really scream pedo IMO.

Did you notice that the playboy models seemed "mature" and not at all age bait material?
