This is total nonsense. Even pretending that "hateful" is anything other than subjective, you have no clue what the context of a text message is. People say and type ridiculous shite all of the time that they do not mean, and that are not meant for anyone's eyes other than recipient.
No one, I repeat absolutely no one, should need to censor their private communications because of the weak sensibilities of anonymous strangers.
