The thing about it is, back in the 1900s, diversity meant that you still held on to some of your cultural traditions yet you completely assimilated into the American society and values. This is why we need vetting. This is why Trump’s shithole comment is actually 100% spot on.
We don’t have assimilation anymore therefore we are no longer a melting pot, we are a salad bowl. I can remember being taught that America was a salad bowl when I was in school, I didn’t think anything of it then because it was like my 6th grade social studies class. Now, I can see that that was just more progressive horseshite they were shoveling down our mouths.
There needs to be a huge conservative assault on this country’s education system and it starts with getting rid of the NEA.

Diversity is a strength... diversity of thought at least. Another person with a different background or train of thought can give you a solution to something you’d never think of... too bad Leftists hate this type of diversity despite claiming to be all about it.
