They improve the US by being willing to work hard and take over jobs currently held by dummies who were born here and are therefore citizens.
Ever been to North Baton Rouge? There are plenty of NBR's throughout our fruited plain filled with people who were "raised" by criminally irresponsible parents. Then they hit 18 and have no job prospects at all.
The fact that uneducated migrants can take jobs away from people who grew up in the US is astounding - but they can and do, and this isn't their fault. It's the fault of people born here, raised here speaking English, and *still* can't compete.
If someone comes here from Honduras not speaking English and can still outwork a meth addict from Bogalusa, I'd rather have the Honduran.

I'd take a hungry immigrant over a free loading native born citizen any day of the week
