This is a disgusting lie. Southern politicians worked to suppress rights of blacks
That's what I said, conservatives have worked to suppress rights of blacks. I didn't say ALL conservatives.
...or do you think it was liberals refusing to let blacks go to school with their kids?
quote:
Northern conservatives were very much in favor of civil rights.
"BOSTON — With Boston public school students back in class, we recall a very different start to school 40 years ago. Then, classes began a week late to give students, schools and the police extra time to prepare for the first day of court-ordered desegregation."
"Southie was ground zero for anti-busing rage. Hundreds of white demonstrators — children and their parents — pelted a caravan of 20 school buses carrying students from nearly all-black Roxbury to all-white South Boston. The police wore riot gear."
"I remember riding the buses to protect the kids going up to South Boston High School," Jean McGuire, who was a bus safety monitor, recalled recently. "And the bricks through the window. Signs hanging out those buildings, '**** Go Home.' Pictures of monkeys. The words. The spit. People just felt it was all right to attack children."
"I had no idea what to expect [with] this busing thing," Williams said. "I didn't know anything about South Boston. I didn't know anything about, you know, they didn't like us. I didn't know anything that was in store for us. But when we got there, it was like a war zone.
"I came back and I told my mom, and I'll never forget, I said, 'Ma, I am not going back to that school unless I have a gun.' At 14 years old. I am not going back to that school."

You can't just close your eyes and wish away 250 years of racist ideology.
Oh...and you linking the use of welfare queen backfired. Half of those were from this thread used by you. The other half were calling other posters or talking about the poor (not assigning race). Your bigotry and limited capacity (as evidenced by your limitations quoted above) prevent you from seeing past your prejudice.

The dude has an exceedingly limited repertoire of thought.
If you took the "racism" argument from him, he'd be rendered entirely incapable of having a political conversation.
Go easy on him.

For liberals, the word inclusive doesn't mean what normal people think it means.
So you're saying Liberals are not normal and backward?
Interesting

think the idea is that we want to be inclusive and fight for equality of races, cultures, men and women, etc. This doesn't mean excusing shitty behavior. Voting for Trump is shitty behavior
No you don't. If you wanted equality for all people, you would be against abortion, gun control, against sanctuary cities, affirmative action, black on black crime, etc.
Voting for anyone but Hillary is the American thing to do. You now make more money because of Trump.
You're welcome.

They should vote republican because the party platform endorses and emphasizes a successful primary education as a means to better ones opportunity to escape a generational cycle of poverty common in poor black communities.
You should wake up and smell the coffee.
Is that what you think Betsy DeVos is doing in the department of education?
You spout all this stuff which has nothing to do with reality.

The truth that the left desperately wants to keep light from falling upon is that blacks are very anti-illegal immigration (as we all should be). Polling data backs that up.
How about a link to this polling data?

Trump is literally what Democrats have said they wanted Republicans to do for my entire adult life.
It is absolutely insane for anyone to come on here and say that Trump is anywhere near middle of road.
I know that helps make you feel warn and fuzzy about what he is orchestrating, but it is nothing short of delusional.
He has the most right wing cabinet in history. Trump is right of a traditional conservative on virtually every issue.
Show me issues that you think Trump is not right-right on.

This IS the Progressive Liberal political party of the United States. Tolerance and Acceptance (As long as you agree with us and condemn those that don't)
It continues to amaze that you baws come on here all the time and talk about progressive/Liberal intolerance as if they are the only side that suffers from that and then with the same breath talk about how all liberals should be rounded up and put in camps.
It is nothing short of laughable.

Nope. Sorry. You said all of them.
You said it, now you back it up. It's not up to me to disprove something that you gave no evidence of.

It was tongue in cheek, and corrected. You claimed trump was right - right on everything.
That's just lunacy.
But also par on your course.

That's a powerful response.
Let's try it like this. Let's look at Trump's cabinet.
DeVos - right of right (charter schools and vouchers for all -- and a dolt).
Sessions - right of right (sentencing turned back to 1990's, all pot smokers in jail, and privatize prisons --
and and a Neanderthal.)
Zinke - right of right. (wants to open up all public lands to drill and privatize parks.)
Perry - right of right. (ex governor of Texas, and a dolt. Didn't know department of energy administered nuclear energy).
Mulvaney - right of right. (asked for zero funding for the the consumers protection bureau, founder of the freedom caucus, endorsed Rand Paul for president in 2016)
Pompeo - right of right. (tea party member. wants to keep Guantanamo Bay detention camp open. After a 2013 visit to the prison, he said, of the prisoners who were on hunger strike, "It looked to me like a lot of them had put on weight." also a Koch pawn.)
Pruitt -- right of right. (it is preposterous for him to be in charge of the EPA when he sued it several times as AG of Oklahoma as instructed by large oil cos.)
Price -- right of right ( chairman of Republican Study Committee )
