OP said nothing about masks - said the choice was get the vaccine or be terminated. Religious exemption would be in regard to the vaccine, not wearing a mask.

Ah my mistake. So what religions in the United States prohibit/teach against vaccines?

Those that believe healing is through prayer; Christian Scientist and some of the Church of Christ churches. Some Amish and some Muslim sects prevent it. I am sure there are others. I guess it's sort of like some refuse blood transfusions to the point of dying.

So a pretty small number of Americans....

Are those that are "claiming religious exemptions" simply lying about it? Gonna really water that down if they start using it for every single they don't agree with.

I haven’t seen an abundance of new horse drawn carriages on the streets so I’m guessing lying. But, I don’t know that it is being required as of right now. Most requirements I’ve seen are down the road a ways. Seems like our med school is giving them til like November.
