And he were to progress to POTUS via Biden and KH being removed, would his time as POTUS count on the 2 term limit?

I just want some fricking normalcy in our government and for the American people to muster up as many brain cells as they have left to get us there.

No

Expanding on that, a president can have 10 years worth of terms. Can fill a half term because of removal or death of current president and still get elected for the normal 2 terms.

So Trump! could in theory fill out the rest of Biden term and still do his 2024 term.

This won't happen because people seem to have forgotten the Dems have more than enough votes to stop it in the Senate.

But No because we're past the halfway point of Biden's term.

You can be President for as many as 10 years. LBJ could have done that if he wanted to run for reelection in 1968. Him actually winning is a different story.

He would have been President for 1.5 years after JFK was killed. Then 8 years of his own terms.

Someone should start a Q thread, where are the current events are all in play on purpose, and Trump will be president before the end of the year and remain so for the next six years.

It wouldn’t count as a term

According to the constitution a president can be “elected” to two terms
But can serve out 1 day less than 2 years of a remaining presidents term as long as he hasn’t already been elected to two terms

BTW these are the things you learn in basic high school civics if you go to the correct highfalutin Catholic private schools. As I did.

No, term limits are only for elected presidents. Biden could’ve been impeached on day one, removed from office, and Kamala served one full unelected term, ran for election as president, won, then wins re-election and effectively serve three terms.
