What causes Pedophilia? Serial killers? Kleptomania?
There are things we don't understand and never will.

He published the study...he didn't do the study!

ETA
If you can show where he misrepresented the study you might have a point.

Identical twins have the same genes or DNA.

I've met plenty of identical twins. They are usually completely different people, not carbon copies of each other.

I honestly can understand how serial killers and kleptomaniacs could be influenced to become what they are.

Gays and pedos,not one bit.

Identical twins are formed from the same cell, which is why they have identical DNA.

All females are at least a little bit gay. The amount of alcohol in their system skews this upwards.

There are many disease that are caused by something called epigenetics, which means changes or modifications of residues on the DNA without changes in the sequence itself. Epigenetics can be induced by environment. Perhaps homosexuality is one of those.

It doesn't take a study to know people aren't born as sinners.

I agree. I don't know what could happen in an otherwise happy childhood that would make a born heterosexual become homosexual. As for homosexuality not being evolutionarily advantageous, there are many such quirks that evolve. There are also many examples in the animal kingdom of homosexuality or at least bisexuality.

Being born a sinner is a cornerstone of almost every single judeochristian religion.

You and I are veterans of many ancient threads on twins studies.
We have some newer members who were never treated to those.

That is behavior. Genetically they are the same, which is the point the study makes. If being gay is genetic then shouldn't twins be the same?

There are many examples of things in the animal kingdom that does not make something normal.

The preying mantis female eats the male after mating. that doesn't make it normal.

Which study? This thread is based on a 4 yr old blog post by a preacher with a dead link to another blog post.

I like your post.

Sociobiological evolutionary theory has suggested that having an aunt or uncle who does not have offspring of their own increases the likelihood that they will help increase survival rates of their nieces and nephews. This would help increase the survival of some of their genetic material.

I remember reading a study that concluded the androgization of the fetus in the womb showed no effect of sexual orientation.

Of course, none of this disproves what you wrote nor is this my intention to do so. It's an interesting topic.
