Hillary was a very flawed and polarizing candidate. I wish the Dems had run someone better, but you are insane if you don't think some voters are just 100% against a woman president, regardless of party of competency

No doubt about that, and there was also no doubt an equal number of voters who voted for her simply b/c she IS a woman. So unless you are prepared to say that misandry cost Trump votes you can't claim misogyny cost Hillary any.

Same thing when Obama was the candidate, there were obviously people who said "nope, not voting for a negro" and they didn't care about any other point. That's obvious. But there were also plenty of people who only cared that he was a black guy. That was enough reason to vote for him.

Identity politics cuts both ways, and if you live by the sword, you will die by the sword. Hillary can STFU.

so you're telling me that these redneck mouthbreathers trump voters were 100% fine with a black guy in office for 8 years but came out of the woods to vote against a woman because mysogyny? GTFO with that bullshite.

Neither is a logical comparison. Before Obama, we've always had white, male presidents. There has been a systemic marginalization of black folks and women for the majority of the history of our country. Not the same for white guys.

Look, if a normal, stats-quo Republican had been on the ticket, I likely would have voted for that person, or worst case, I'd have abstained for voting. I voted for HRC to vote against Trump, because he is so dangerous. I hate being a HRC defender, but she never said misogyny cost her the election, just that it was one of many factors (many self-inflicted), and she is right.

I guess it never enters her mind that she was just a really bad, stale, unethical, old professional politician that the majority didn't want.

No. No it doesn't.

frick the left and it's identity politics.

In fact, the only thing true about her comment is that her COMMENT is a great example of why she lost.

It's a perfectly logical comparison, and it's ignorant to claim otherwise.

Might as well try to claim that McCain lost the 2008 election because misogynists didn't want a woman vice president. It's stupid.

There are folks on both sides who vote based solely on color, race, gender, or what have you, and it is without doubt impossible to know if Hillary got a net gain or a net loss of votes from people who voted based on gender alone. It's unprovable, so her claim that misogyny played ANY part in her defeat is unsubstantiated nonsense.

Holy fricking shite.

Yes, it is a perfectly logical comparison.

However, I realize you are Toddy/Awant/Pdhog level stupid so you will naturally double down on ignorance.

You are insane if you don't think there were just as many crazed "men are evil" feminists who gave her votes simply because she had a vagina.

If she wasn't such a despicable count, being a woman would have definitely helped her.

She had literally everything working in her favor:

-Money
-The Media
-A pussy grabber opponent
-Experience
-An Ex-freaking-president husband
-Influence
-Coordination between DNC and her campaign to blunt Sanders
-Pizza and pedophiles

........yet she still got crushed Misogyny was minor in the grand scheme of things

A lot of people don't recognize just how big of a disaster we avoided in 2008 and again in 2016.

I don’t know that there is one answer, let’s be clear. I think there — you know, in any campaign, there are so many different crosscurrents and events, and some have greater impact than others. But, it is fair to say…that, certainly, misogyny played a role. I mean, that just has to be admitted.

Meh, the Repubs nominated a woman for VPOTUS in the 2012 election so I don't know who the misogynists are that Hillary is talking about.

If HRC was a man, she would have never made it out of the primaries.

For real, Hillary losing to Trump was like the New England Patriots losing a football game to the University of Kentucky. I mean seriously.............

Another reason I detest Proggies so much.

No accountability, ever.....

Then, we make up a complete bullshite narrative, and this narrative "has to be accepted and admitted".

Just like the Russians, eh Hillary and you pathetic Proggies?

this clueless attitude is what cost her the election.

and i'd venture to guess that far more people voted for her than against her based on gender. (See, e.g., Obama re: blackish.)

There were probably more women who voted for Hillary just because she is a woman than men who voted against Hillary just because she is a woman.

Don't forget. Hillary used the woman card over and over during her campaign.
