This is the 5th? 10th? thread today about "When will blah blah blah"

Are you people literally retarded?

I see the Georgia flair, so that explains it I guess.

2 years to be safe. There’s no guarantee any of this can get done after the midterms.

Midterms are gonna be brutal. Nothing gets done past that date.

Do you feel illegal immigration isn’t being addressed?

How about a law that no federal agency can spend money on anything outside of its mandate - which are set and enforced through congressional committee?

Surely all of this legislation has been prepared and sitting there ready to go?

We simply need to repeal the Impoundments Control Act of 1974 to get that power. It was enacted shortly after Nixon took us off the Gold Standard. Lo & behold, the same DS cretins who framed him and forced him to resign in disgrace seized control of the US monetary policy and stripped the Executive of ultimate authority on where the apportioned money goes.

Tax cuts? They've been doing a lot more than that where have you been? Most of whats been done is cost cutting in govt spending which is priority 1, as it should be.

Haven't seen much on tax cuts that didn't also involve huge cuts of waste in spending preceeding that

Cut Medicaid to fund tax cuts for the wealthy. That money will eventually trickle down to the middle/working class at some point.

He's come out more than once mentioning no cuts to Medicaid, outside of the massive fraud they are about to find. Nice try lefty.

GOPe will screw this up - on purpose. I have a feeling people here will tell you to stop worrying, they'll act like Trump is about to get 50 more seats at midterms and accuse you of being black pilled. Then, if everything falls apart like it did in his first term, they'll blame everyone else but their own complacency and hubris.

Trump gets four years. Dems and Deep State types are not waiting for the 2028 campaign season to launch their derailment plans. It will be launched for the midterms. Trump needs to go full throttle on the domestic agenda and though he's been moving fast, now that the big hitters in the cabinet are done, he needs to ramp this up even more. Energy prices need to come down yesterday. He can't get distracted by the RINOs and he can't screw this up with DOGE (which they are doing by de-humanizing federal workers).

Just enforce current immigration laws.

Not an Executive issue. GOP legislators could have been working this since first week of November.

Current laws don’t cut it as we saw over the last 4 years. There has to be someway to rework where enforcement isn’t solely up to the DOJ or Homeland that can just choose not to do so.

Why can’t anyone get that something needs to change about the enforcement of immigration after what happened the last 4 years? Trump won’t be President forever.

I saw what Lee is doing and that’s a huge step in the right direction.

For this impoundment law, I’m not so sure. It would be great now but imagine if another Progressive gets elected to POTUS. Will they just be able to spend whatever wherever?

Remember, I’m thinking take this immediate advantage to lock in long term fixes.

I’d much rather have a specific budget by department outlining where money is going and negotiated in the open, with no flexibility for it to be spent elsewhere without congressional approval.

I know that’s a pipe dream but it’s now or never.

33% of Louisiana’s population is on managed Medicaid. Are you arguing that’s an appropriate number ? Should it be larger?

Because y'all are already assuming Democrats will sweep mid-terms. Pussies.

There is always a chance that Dems earn control back in the midterms.

Additionally, Trump will be a lame duck president towards the end of his term. Dems will slow things down and wait until he is out of office.

That's just how it works.
