How about on ill-tempered Sea Bass?

"hypersonics" is just a marketing term for the MIC to milk a few more trillion out of an already absurd budget to fight this "new technology".

Sure, they'll work in profit margins of a gazillion percent on this "new tech". The "budget" of course is a blank check.

"Hypersonic" can also be interpreted as "Sound Frequency" weaponry (the Electro-Magnetic kind that can be utilized even from 5-6G towers or smaller units.) Lasers are just another "Energy" weapon.

Pandora's Box is now wide open.

From this naval vessel at sea level, do laser beams curve around the earth to hit their target??

No. These systems are mounted about 10 meters above sea level and curvature of the Earth doesn't factor into it because the lasers effective range is only about 6 miles. Line of sight (due to earth curvature) is about 10 miles for something mounted 10 meters above sea level. If however, the lasers had a longer effective range Earth curvature would absolutely play into it.

The beam's intensity dissipates over distance as the air around the beam is heated up. Once you get out beyond 6 miles the beam is still there, it just isn't focused and intense enough to do its job. It's not what you're thinking.

The flat earth stuff is the most ridiculous shite floating around the internet. Please don't derail this thread with that foolishness.

LOLOL... part of what's going on is re-alignment.

Every Chinese manufactured weapon Iran implemented for offensive or defensive purpose has been destroyed. Think about that.

China's most advanced air defense capability... obliterated.

This is like 1982 when Israel flying F15's defeated Syrians flying MIG's, 81 aircraft downed to 0 lost.

Who exactly wants to purchase weapons from China right now?

I thought we’d see a carrier killer by now

Apparently Iran’s carrier, equivalent to a wwII sized carrier was targeted and hit the other day.

There should be one at every US embassy in high threat areas IMO.
