In terms of life expectancy the United States is 43th in the world.
In terms of infant mortality the USA is 55th in the world at 5.80 per 1,000 births.
(170th where the best in the world is #225, Monaco at just 1.80.)

Nope. I thought you had a clue, but then you replied. Ha.
It isn't my job to educate you. I blame your parents.

Is your conclusion that the quality of care is the reason for this?
Is your solution for higher quality of care government run care?
Certainly healthcare for all can perform better than healthcare for profit as in the USA. In every case? No.
My original reply was to the person who said the USA had the best healthcare in the world. Demonstrably, we do not. But we do pay at least 50% to 100% more than most of the countries that have better numbers.

Ironically, most of the knocks on our Healthcare relate to our mortality tables.
We have more automobile and suicide deaths than other countries. Take those out of every equation and we are a top 10 mortality (which is good considering our obesity and long history of tobacco). The medical care in the US is excellent for most americans.
