Did you link a picture from Des Moines as your rebuttal?

I’ve been working in healthcare since 2005. But damn. You found a picture.

I can't wait for my hospital to stop requiring masks, it is completely ridiculous.

It bothers me being forced to wear one.

I thought ridiculous that UMMC still requires them but you wear one or go somewhere else. But the Vice Chancellor made a big deal out of wearing masks when they were over run by covid patients. Even set up temporary "hospital" in the parking garages. I guess she painted herself into a corner with that one.

Did you even read the article or just look at pictures?

It says you can request a mask and encourages you to wear one if you are coughing or sneezing.

Why is it so hard for you to be honest?

When I have to wear one it's a fake mask. Its like breathing through mesh. Just as useful as all the cloth type masks

When you see someone wearing a mask, make sure to tell them the masks has a efficacy rate of around 10% for the virus.

Some dweeb who thinks masks save lives downvoted me.

It's something that makes medical folks feel like they're more in authority when now they've been exposed as just people of another profession.

Used to be the medical profession was the most trusted. They're barely above lawyers now.
