Good point, however its never a bad idea to at least start propholatycally to test reaction to a new med or at least adapt to it before you are ill. I have been doing monthly since March and watching everyone around me fall ill.

I took it.

21 mg (7-3mg tablets) days 1-4 of infection. I began taking it the moment I felt bad. By day 3 I was fine but took the 4th dose out of caution. No issues here and recovered fully within a week.

How is it a prophylactic for covid? It's half life is 18 hours and the metabolites are basically gone after 3 days. Means four days with nothing.

I took it, several members of my family took it, many of my neighbors took it, yesterday an MD prescribed it for one of my neighbors. There are about a dozen people I know who have taken it with zero negative effects.

We had received a medical prescription for Ivermectin before it became political, about the same time HCQ controversies were being discussed hotly. When someone close to me got sick, I took it low dosage, briefly as a prophylactic, but otherwise did not feel any effects at all. I probably took the minimal medical dosage for maybe three days. When we found out that it was not COVID, after a negative test, but was instead strep (at that time), we stopped taking it, but otherwise starting eating even healthier (than we were). I even began to take some additional vitamins/minerals that help with immune support, thinking we were probably getting close to another season of it anyway. A few weeks (to a month) later, when we did get COVID, we had already been eating healthy, eliminating most sugar from our diets etc. All we did was continue our routine and added in a bit more rest, multiple hot showers/baths, and drank more water for a brief period. We were lucky to have had a very mild cases of COVID but we never took actually took Ivermectin while we were positive. We did not have, or were aware of, any pre-existing conditions that may have affected COVID, which may have helped at that time.

Was unknowingly exposed to Covid over a period of 3 days, 12/19-12/22 by a 23 year old double vaxxed. No health issues at age 70. Have been taking ivermectin as a preventative for several months. Took 7, 3 mg tablets 48 hours apart after a meal with fat and did not get covid. Also have D3 level of 59 and am taking zinc and other supplements. Either I am the luckiest person or what I am doing works. With Omicron the ivermectin will offer some protection but not prevent it per FLCCC.

For preventative care, those in the control group who took ivermectin once/weekly had 100% success rate.

At least one person in this thread alone debunks that finding. That’s the funny thing about science by anecdote.
