Guy I know is about to go to court for sentencing. He was in medical equipment sales and made a decent living. Goes to the “cut” to get some pot and ends up getting carjacked.... well almost.

After dark he Pulls up on cut, rolls his windows down, guy approaches
His car like every other time he goes, buys weed, he hands guy money, guy hands him weed, they swap, when they swap, guy reaches in trough driver side and tried to jerk out the keys, a tussle ensues and guy pulls a gun and raises it up towards my buddies head, he grabs it with his hand over the barrel sounding all he can to keep it away from his head, gun discharges, which goes off and shoots my buddy through the middle of his left hand, shooter falls away as car is moving and gun discharged. My buddy drives to a hospital where upon awakening from emergency surgery on his left arm and hand, he is being surveyed by a CPD and he is cuffed to the bed and in leg shackles

He had weed that he had bought in the car when he drove to hospital after being shot, as well as his personal gun in the car with gun locked in glove box and magazines and shells locked in trunk. Charged with numerous felonies involving Weapons and Drugs. Guy who shot him, still at large if still alive from no positive ID of suspect.
