I've seen this thing in person.
About a third of the mirrors need cleaning at any given time. About 10% of the mirror actuators are broken at any given time. They have had several fires at the towers over the years.
This is 100% one of those ideas that "sounds good in theory" but doesn't work out in real life.
The plant never met its goals since the day it was opened.
Now it's just an expensive scrap heap and eyesore.
