They stole the WH and the Senate. The Left does not concern itself with old-fashioned notions of "popular support". Popular support, as far as the Left is concerned, is a euphemism for "What White People Want".
We can't have what white people want. That's why Leftist Totalitarianism is coming - because THAT is something that white people will HATE (but will be too afraid to say so out loud).

Honestly, everyone should be for a diversified energy grid and development of sustainable technologies.

Meh, it’s just a way to manufacture money to one group. If you lived in the 70’s, you’ll understand that these groups were warning of the Ice age was upon us. You can easily get that info for your own consumption. A few hard winters any the narrative will shift back to cooling
