I have to say, it really is a big deal and bad look for the movement

“There are no atheists in fox holes”, some have said

Let me amend that

No truth will stop those idiots from worshipping at the climate change alter.
They'll have some cuck explanation by Weds of how this is all due to carbon emissions.

The people who vote for climate change are brain washed but nothing will change . I think we should do more to actually make a difference. Democrats just want to use it to destroy the country. We could do a lot to cut down on pollution and help the middle class .

Is Maddow concerned about Trump letting Russia shut our power grid down in the middle of a cold weather event again?

Eggsaladly. We are currently running off of a line thats running from our "generator" SUV currently frozen in our driveway and heating our house from the natural gas fireplace that we use once every 2-3 years when it freezes over like this.

Trying to get my carbon footprint up as much as possible.

Feeling cute. May go burn some tires for heat later. IDK.

It Should because green is not viable for main power generation for whole states, and never will be no matter how many subsidies they throw at it.

Wind and solar suck. Geothermal is viable but super expensive. No one wants dams built anymore because of muh environment, and of course nuclear, the fricking safest and most efficient of them all, is seen as bringing the devil himself up from hell.

And also if something works you don’t need government subsidies or government to try to force you to use it. Nobody had to force oil and gas on us, nobody had to force gas engine cars, nobody had to force gas two cycle engines. They got popular because they work and are efficient.

Uh, have you not seen the 2004 climate documentary called "The Day After Tomorrow"? It specifically deals with why global warming will cause global cooling.

Educate yourself.

Definition of stupidity......

Preaching, following, worshiping a movement that started as global warming and beat the “earth will melt soon”. And moving the goal post all the way to “green energy” yet still never questioning all the title changes and political stances. It’s a sickness truly.

The only thing they have right is that fossil fuels are finite. There will have to be a transition away from them at some point.

And that’s why we have nuclear.

Green can be supplemental. It will never be core with current technology.

Just saw this on the twatter, seemed appropriate for this thread:

quote:

A helicopter running on fossil fuel spraying a chemical made from fossil fuels onto a wind turbine made with fossils fuels during an ice storm is awesome.

Didn't you hear President Biden explain that it would create tons of high paying jobs?

PS...I have one small solar square that charges the battery to open my front gate. Batteries hate freezing weather so I was concerned until I saw that the sun is out. BUT...the square can't absorb the sun because there's snow all over the surface. Me and the dogs had to trudge 80 yards through 6 inch deep snow to clean off the damn thing.

Green activists always want someone else to suffer the consequences of their decisions. Much like communists.

Yes, a few centuries into the future IF they don't find any more giant deposits that extend it even further, which they will.

Forcing the move to green now will only make finding viable alternatives take longer and longer because money for research will be directed at less viable methods because of government money being passed around like weed at a Grateful Dead concert when letting the market do its thing is the right thing to do

In the meantime we will all be forced to deal with rolling blackouts. Take a look at Germany and how their credits are now expired since 2020, and the companies that have been floating their business on subsidies are bailing out. Germany's power grid is currently in serious trouble because of forced sub-par generation methods.

Can someone explain to me how this is wind and solars fault? The short falls from out of service fossil, natural gas line pressure reductions, etc are far more than the frozen wind turbines and solar with snow on it.

Nothing wrong per se about wind/solar, only something wrong with the people using propaganda to over promote it as some type of real massive alternative. (generally for their own financial benefit)
