And we're still in Phase 1 ...

Florida, Tennessee, Alabama opened after us and are moving forward at a blistering pace but we still can't:

- Have youth sporting events over 10 kids (but can put 500 people in a Home Depot)
- Can't have a beer in a bar/nightclub
- Can't have live music

I was excited on April 29th but if we don't get additional restrictions removed today/tomorrow, we're taking your coat and getting you one of these (the hat, not the Asian hottie):

Wow, didn’t realize you all were there. Haven’t really been following it much since he was the first to announce to be aggressive about it. Hope it lifts for you soon

This was one of the most perplexing things about this whole ordeal. HD and Lowe's were packed to the gills yet you can't sit 6' away from someone in a restaurant because it's "too dangerous"

Yeah, it's nuts.

Initial prediction was 8K deaths by August. We're crawling towards 2K by June with hospitalizations significantly down day after day ...

I know Pence is here again this Friday (so hopeful) but if we're still in Phase 1 into June, Kemp has lost all the political capital gained in opening first.

I said the whole time if the shite is as bad as they say it is, then they need to close it all down...

Frickin Lowe's and Home Depot had to have a record quarter, it was like Christmas at Wal-Mart...

Dude every soccer mom and do-it-yourselfer were in there It was crazy. Everytime I went (which was often) there was a line easily 15-20 minutes waiting time long.

I have no idea what phase we're in and I suspect a lot of Georgians are the same.

Things seem like they're getting back to normal and I have no complaints. I'm not saying your position is wrong, but I'm not sure Kemp is really losing any ground because I'm not sure your concern about the delay is very widespread.

Yeah, but they closed our park fields to "organized" play. In fact, Justin Fields was working out at a park around the corner from my house last week and he got kicked off the football field for not "social distancing" properly, working out with 2 other dudes ...

It's pure insanity.

Kemp is a politician and pretty dumb (yes, I voted for him and he's definitely better than gap tooth). He's trying to satiate folks like me as well as the Facebook/Nextdoor Karens.

Local watering hole isn't allowed to open or offer live music simply because 13 people (all over 60) have died in our county (out of 260K) ...

Some of the bars/breweries in atlanta are open or at least partly open. I went to New Realm last weekend and although they didnt have max seating, the inside and outside were both open and they were serving drinks and food. I cant wait for the rest of the bars to follow.

I took my family to Lake Allatoona in Georgia today to go swimming.

We loaded up the car and when we got there saw the beaches and swimming areas were closed.

It is like they have locked down all the fum stuff.

I think swimming at the lake would have been fine.
