Strange bedfellows indeed. Would anyone find it odd that G00gle Gsuite is starting to be used in our govt. This is the symbiotic relationship of them stifling freedom of speech for our govt to circumvent the 1st amendment. Google then greases the pockets of our politicians and is given the contract to use GSuite to handle our govt data.

I remember when Eric Schmidt (former google officer) created the little PAC to help Hillary run her 2016 presidential bid.

big tech, big media, big pharma, big business.....the marxists control them all.

This is a bit of a stretch. Switching from Office 365 to Gsuite is common in enterprise IT and vice versa.

Some Department of Energy desk worker using Google Sheets instead of Excel probably has no impact on Googles activist engineers manipulating search results.

You're confusing Compute (Cloud Infrastructure) with GSuite.

Compute is far behind Glacier (AWS) and Azure (Microsoft) in terms of maturity, capability and security.

It's a little less of the choice of a spreadsheet preference and more of email and document storage. A bit of a conflict like Amazon AWS doing storage for other Agencies when same conglomerate owns a questionable news outlet.

Been seeing exactly the opposite, Been with 3 different "Dept's" over the last 10 years, they all migrated to G, but in the last 3 years have dropped them and moved to Microsoft.

The 3 I've worked for have all switched back to M$ based products from G, the transition to and from G was always a PITA, things either overlooked and lost or just plain missing afterwards.
