Good Tucker: Irrational Hostility to Trump

In this short clip, Tucker describes how he hadn't paid much attention to Trump until then...but what really got his attention in 2015 was his DC neighbors' irrational hostility to Trump's very simple, obvious question: with the collapse of the Soviet Union why do we need NATO anymore?
Rather than considering the question, the neighbors cried "Shut him up! Kill him!" That is one of the gifts of Trump: permission to ask any logical question even if it challenges the establishment position.
I think that irrational hostility to questions about established institutions is a disease of the secular, liberal hive mind---of which actual TDS is just a symptom.
This really stood out to me in the COVID tyranny insanity: it seemed like the more formal education someone had, the more likely they were to believe the obvious bullshite being spewed by public health "experts."
To test that, do you know ANYONE with TDS who questioned:
-the COVID jab
-the war in Ukraine
or
-global warming?

Actual TDS is real. Not the simplistic accusations that are pervasive here when anything but fealty is exhibited.
Their hate is irrational and has been bred by DC politicians and the media so much so that their loons have attempted to kill him multiple times.
Charlie Kirk was turned into an evil villain by the Tranny Boy Klan and we know the result there. I think their most radical sect would be happy to kill us all.
They are a danger to us, our children in many ways and now to our country with their leftward lurch toward socialism.
It’s so bad, they don’t even try to hide it any longer.
ETA: days since triggering = 0. Too Funny

Both are are caused by dangerously low levels of curiosity. "Tribalism aside, does this make any sense?" would help cure both.

The problem is that nobody has any common sense any more. They have no idea what "makes sense" and what doesn't.
When I was in engineering school there was an old joke floating around about the French Revolution and a long line of people waiting for the guillotine. At one point, the executioner pulled the rope and the blade didn't fall. Everyone exclaimed "It's a miracle! A sign from GOD!" and the condemned person was set free. The same thing happened to the next person, and again they were set free. The next person was an engineer, and as they were fastening him into the guillotine, he shouted "Wait, Wait, I see the problem!".
I feel like that's where we are today. Everyone goes to college but they don't really learn anything meaningful.
