I just saw a lengthy interview on OAN explaining why they did what they did with the GoFundMe fundraiser.

After consulting with members of the Trump Administration they were informed that any effort to actually make sure that publicly donated monies would actually be used for land acquisition and construction would be a bureaucratic nightmare, especially considering that Democrats would keep it tied up in court for years furthering wasting time and money.

They decided to form the 503 and enlist the help with established, respected, and well known individuals from many different disciplines and specialties. They have members specializing in marketing, construction and logistics, law enforcement, a former legislator, a brigadier general (ret), a journalist (probably the only one left with any integrity), a media expert, a social media marketing professional, and several others.

Here is a link to the bio page of the advisors:

LINK

Here are some faces involved you'll recognize:

Kolfage said after consulting with attorneys and government officials, they decided they they could form this non profit to acquire land from border property owners and build the wall for around half of what the government could do it. He also stated that they already had several property owners willing to sell land at a fair price and some even donating a right of way for the wall.

Kolfage acknowledges that a complete wall isn't needed and his effort will be in more directed areas where they are needed most.

Kolfage also stated they have been informed by GoFundMe that an unprecedented number of original donors are opting to transfer their donation to the new 503c. He also said the new format would also make it easier to solicit and accept corporate donations.

Seeing some of the comments from the Progfilth the last few days, I sent Kolfage a message asking whether any of his board/advisors would be compensated and if so to what extent. I also asked if they could post/release a video detailing this new mission statement and the extent any of the advisors were financially involved.

So DEG, as usual you blithering idiots are off the mark. No one got duped, not one got ripped off, most simply transferred their donation to the new operation and unlike that dimwit whore Blassey Ford no one has personally gained from the donations (thus far).

I'll keep this thread updated to either crow about our new wall or to take our lumps from the tards on the left.

Stay tuned.

He actually addressed those in that interview I saw. He said he wasn't formally associated with that charity in question and at that time the Air FOrce was paying his traveling expenses as part of a campaign to help wounded vets.

BMY showing up to shite on the Wall.

You’re so scared because you and the rest of the Left know it’s inevitable at this point. Trump is holding a winning hand right now.

GoFundMe spokesman Bobby Whithorne confirmed to BuzzFeed News that Kolfage in 2015 launched a GoFundMe that raised $16,246 under the premise that the money would go to a veteran mentorship program. Whitorne said the money went directly to Kolfage.

Kolfage in Facebook posts that have been deleted said that he was working with Walter Reed, Brooke Army Medical Center and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Representatives for the centers told BuzzFeed News that they don't have record of Kolfage working with veterans at their facilities.

Ummm--it is sourced directly to a GoFundMe spokesperson who is identified. That spokesperson directly contradicts Kolfage by saying the money went directly to him. I assume you are asserting that all of the Medical facilities are lying?

Yet.

You think those "advisors" are lining-up to lend nothing more than a helping hand? They are going to siphon whatever they can off this project.

Just ask for your money back and end the embarrassment right here.

That's why I asked him those very questions.

All of those people are successful in their own right and have much more to lose than gain by siphoning a few bucks off of a charity.

I will grant you however that this is a real possibility and why my OP said what it said.

Two real question..

Do you really expect an honest answer from a guy who makes his living running fake news clickbait websites?

Do you think he will be refunding the million+ he received in personal checks?

Fair enough

quote:

Kolfage’s most recent Fight4Freedom fundraising campaign newsletter came from his personal email address, but spoke about him in the third-person.

“If you're ready to give back to a veteran who has given so much, then this is your chance to directly impact him and his family as well as fighting for conservative values,” the email read.

To people who signed the petition and received the email, the sender’s name appeared as “Donald Trump"

Just curious bmy, what are your thoughts on Blassey Ford and McCabe's GoFunMe drives?

What trying to whataboutism, I'm genuinely curious. I don't remember your staunch opposition to those drives.

Plus, we know that Ford never left DC and is now living in a plush DC home. Where'd that money come from because her CA home was certainly nothing to brag about. My broke arse has a nicer home than she had in CA.

Also, Kolfage's 503 isn't even a day old and you're already accusing it of fraud.
