He's going to crush that woman. He's been playing these feel good gushy ads that have made me sick watching them because they were cringy and cheesy, but he finally took the gloves off and going hard on the paint

Independents (white women) don't see Rick to be charming like Kemp. They are the ones that will decide the election. Rick needs to keep up the negative ads, sure, that's in the playbook, but he really needs to appeal to those women or Keisha will be the governor.
Midterms are going to be a republican slaughter in general, so Rick's got that going against him as well.

You're all over it. White women are the largest voting bloc in Georgia, and white women are also most likely to change their minds a lot. White women are also the most likely to vote for someone they want to have sex with. And none of them want to have sex with Rick Jackson, unless they have a creepy morbid-looking grandpa fetish.
That's why the Jackson campaign is doing such a good job. They're blanketing television with the Atlanta pandemic chaos ads and then sprinkling in the ads where Jackson is surprised by the foster kids that went to college.
It probably won't be enough however. The numbers are way against Jackson. In 2022, the primary was 53 percent Repbublican votes and 46 percent Democrat. In 2026 it was 57 percent Democrat and 41 percent. With numbers like that, there's a theory that the Democrat could run zero ads, do zero campaign events and decline all debate invites and they'd still win. That's how it's been for the downballot statewide races for the last 20 years (Sec. of State, Agriculture Commissioner). Whoever got the GOP nominee didn't have to do anything and would win regardless.
