Could the driver have fired the fatal shot when he turned around?

This is the one theory that I just don’t get. The driver was on the far left of the car and Kennedy on the far right. The shot that hit him in the head, if it did indeed come from the front would have had to have been fired at an angle that was in front of him and slightly to the right. If the angle is too large, it goes in the right side and out the left side. It would have been physically impossible for the driver to turn around and shoot Kennedy in the head at such an angle that came from in front and to the right.

That would coincide with back and to the left though, right?

You guys understand that the CIA isn't saying there were two shooters right?

The other thing that I found pretty interesting in reading up on this stuff the past weekend was the rifle was initially identified as a German made Mauser. You can find tons of old news reports saying this. The interview I saw was with a cop who was there when the gun was found. He said it was identified as a Mauser because on the barrel of the gun it was stamped with the word Mauser. A correction later was issued to say it wasn’t a Mauser but an Italian rifle... now when the warren commission was having the rifle tested, they couldn’t sight it in at all. They actually had to add metal shims underneath the scope to sight it in and make it accurate. So Oswald purchases these cheap pos weapons, one which can’t be sighted in and the other which couldn’t be fired because it was bent internally, and yet he made three incredible shots to kill Kennedy and killed Tippit with a pistol that wouldn’t fire. Seems completely legit.

After reading about the gunman on the bridge and the coroner’s statement that the first shot entered JFK’s throat; I’m doubting Oswald even fired a shot, of what you are saying is true about his rifles.

It’s all in the WC report. You can look it up with a quick google search.

Here you go, Blizz. Report from the Sun UK about Tippit.

quote:

It claims officer JD Tippit – who was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald around 45 minutes after Kennedy’s assassination – was the real trigger man, not Oswald.

Oswald was fingered for the killing but was himself shot dead by mafia-linked nightclub owner Jack Ruby while in police custody.

But the tip-off in the document suggests Tippit and Oswald were seen together in one of Ruby’s bars just one week before the assassination, linking all three men.

And another file claims sources close to the Soviet KGB told US spies the Russians believed Oswald was not a lone gunman

I read suspicions about this as well. That’s actually pretty interesting. The theory I had read was that Tippit and Oswald knew each other. It’s even suspected that he actually gave Oswald a ride to the theatre. Like I said, Tippit was shot in an area that was not part of his regular patrol. There is so much more to this story than we’ve been told.

That was an investigation paid for by Oswald's mom, right?

Oswald never went to trial and never confessed to the murder.

He always claimed to be a patsy.

That sheriff's deputy appeared to be highly credible. They had to change the story so that the rifle matched the caliber of bullets. Poor guy was killed later by a rifle wound after 2 previous assassination attempts.

I think the thing you have to keep in mind when delving into the Kennedy Assassination is that it is very hard to keep fact and fiction separate. There are so many crazy stories and theories that they all kind of blend together and support each other but then there is no real proof that can be substantiated.

I get that. The only reason why I brought up Oswald was because up until Ruby shot him; he never once confessed and told the media repeatedly that he was a patsy.

Then he got whacked...

Oswald might have truly been a patsy. If you’re gonna pull something like this off, a fall guy would be ideal. Wanna read about something else crazy, go read up on the one phone call Oswald was allowed to make but they never actually connected the call.

I believe he was involved in some fashion. But, definitely wasn't alone...
